The Armed Forces Covenant is a promise from the nation to those who serve. It says we will do all we can to ensure they are treated fairly and not disadvantaged in their day-to-day lives. This includes offering injured servicemen and women and bereaved families extra support where appropriate.
Supporting the Armed Forces since 1809
Holt's Military Banking provides bespoke banking support to a large number of those serving in the Armed Forces as well as their respective regiments, RAF stations, navy ships and bases. We work with large numbers of personnel working in the UK and overseas to ensure their banking needs are tailored to suit their unique lifestyle.
At RBS plc we have nearly 40,000 military customers and received a Silver SaBRE for our support of armed services reservists in December 2014.
Key pledges of the Armed Forces Convenant
Holt's will endeavour in our business dealings to uphold the key principles of the Armed Forces Covenant, which are:
No member of the Armed Forces Community should face disadvantage in the provision of public and commercial services compared to any other citizen.
Applications for credit will be treated fairly and consistently with civilian counterparts ensuring there are no disadvantages as a result of overseas postings.
We will continue to support the Forces Help to Buy Scheme to enable more serving personnel to purchase their own home and enable them to rent the property out when serving overseas at no additional cost.
Supporting military charities e.g raising funds for Royal British Legion through the Poppy appeal.
